Cortina d'Ampezzo Ski Resort

Cortina d'Ampezzo, Olympic town, is surronded by the imposing peaks of the Tofana, the Monte Cristallo and the Sorapis Dolomites.

The mountains, the sun and the snow have made this town famous all over the world.

During the winter there are many important sports events taking place such as the Ladies' Alpine Ski World Cup Skiing, ice-polo tournaments, ice-hockey matches, curling matches and Nordic skiing events.

Together with the sorrounding villages of San Vito di Cadore, Auronzo and Misurina, Cortina with 140 km of ski slopes makes skiing "à la carte" possible.

The "Skitour Olympia" high above the sunny valleys is a real Olympic tour. The tour can be done in one day or in a more relaxed manner over two days.

Cortina skiing is divided into the main area of Tofana-Socrepes-Pocol-Falzarego and 5 Torri, Lagazuoi on the west side of the valley and Cristallo-Faloria on the other side of the valley.

The village has a pedestrian center that allows for nice walks and lots of sites to see.
Designer boutiques and a selection of crafts keep the shoppers busy here.

Home to Winter sports, Cortina is an endless source of enjoyable experiences.
