Big news for summer 2025 in the ISTA Ski Area!
Summer 2025 will mark a big turning point for our ski area, with the start of significant upgrades and development work.
New gondola lift in Socrepes
To enable the start of construction of a brand new 10-passenger gondola lift, which will replace the existing Socrepes and Ra Freza chairlifts, during the upcoming summer season
- Only the Piè Tofana – Duca d’Aosta lift will remain active.
The new, modern, state-of-the-art facility will start at 1334 m above sea level and reach an altitude of 1558 m above sea level, overcoming a 224-meter drop in less than 4 minutes. Thanks to the 53 cabins along the line, the hourly capacity will reach 3,000 people per hour, drastically reducing waiting times and improving ride comfort.
To ensure safety and smooth operation, part of the Socrepes area will be off-limits to the public and accessible only to construction workers.
In addition, during the summer the Pomedes and Tofana Express lifts will also undergo a complete general overhaul, a fundamental intervention to keep our safety and reliability standards high at all times.
