The chairlifts of the Women’s Ski World Cup race area are located on the slopes of the Tofane, one of the most charming and imposing Dolomite mountain groups. Ideally positioned, the slopes are exposed to the sun both in the morning and the afternoon.
The area is also particularly suitable for summer hikes due to the varied and beautiful environment, rich in flora and fauna, and for the presence of important structural remains from the First World War that make it a favourite destination for those who love historical-naturalistic excursions.
The heart of the area, where a wide selection of trails commence, can be easily reached by chairlift: the trails range from easy walks and longer hikes, through challenging vie ferrate (cable-protected trails) to the most challenging and demanding alpine climbs.
Hikers may also sunbathe on the terrace of the rifugi where one can enjoy local specialities, or even stay overnight in comfortable rooms.
