Panoramic route with moderate slopes that allows hikers to descend comfortably from Duca d’Aosta to the Piè Tofana car park or vice versa.

In the most strategic sections of the route, some rest areas have been set up equipped with benches and tables where you can rest or refresh yourself while your gaze rests on the breathtaking views that the Ampezzo valley offers from up there.

The Chamois Trail was so named because it crosses an area with highly valuable naturalistic characteristics, where it is very easy to spot these ungulates that populate the Alpine areas.

It is a very suitable route for families and children, especially if followed downhill.

The path is between the Canalone and Forcella Rossa ski slopes and is located between 2070m and 1875m above sea level.

In the first stretch the path develops in a zigzag on the bed of the gully track, then it runs along the high rocky walls above, until it reaches the vicinity of the Forcella Rossa track and finally joins the CAI path n. 407; from here you can quickly reach Piè Tofana (parking and ski lift) in the middle of the woods.
